We built what we couldn't find
Glinkie LLC started where most good ideas start: with a personal problem. When my family needed a way to stay connected during a difficult time, I built a virtual room that felt like our living room back in Chicago. Clickable family photos on the walls. A place for my mom to visit with relatives who couldn't be there in person. That became The Family Room.
Around the same time, I was running an aromatherapy community on a platform that just couldn't do what I needed it to do. No real formatting. No custom domain. No way to deliver structured content the way my members deserved. So I found better tools, moved everything over, and started helping other community builders do the same. That became GroveHub.
Both products come from the same place: if the right thing doesn't exist yet, build it. And then build it for other people too.
